THE T-SHIRT

Throughout the 21st century to this day, the T-shirt has been the most basic piece of clothing around. We will not find a single man or woman who do not own a stockpile of t-shirts in their closet. The T-shirt is named after the T shape that the body and sleeves create and It is normally associated with short sleeves, a round neck line and long enough to tuck into the pants. The T-shirt evolved from undergarments used in the 19th century, through cutting the one-piece union suit underwear into separate top and bottom garments. Miners adopted them as a convenient covering for hot environments.

The T-shirt became popular in the United States when they were issued by the U.S. Navy during or following the Spanish–American War of 1898.

The modern T-shirts are made mostly of thinly knitted cotton, linen, viscose, polyester and spandex, all breathable and flexible fabrics, allowing us to wear them casually or during physical exercise.

The T-shirt is an inseparable piece of clothing, for both men and women. Here at Co.Co we have a wide range of classic, striped, dotted and checkered T-shirts with different types of necklines to match.
